An Interesting Picasso Jasper Pendant with Golden Accents
This product is currently sold out.
This fashionable necklace and earrings set has as its focal a 38x28mm Picasso Jasper pendant in the shape of a three-fourths moon. The coloring is beautiful and with the use of harmonious elements, this exciting gemstone is emphasized to its full potential.
The pendant is attached to the rest of the necklace via two antique brass-plated pewter vine pinch bails. Under the bails and pendant are two gold coral round tube beads with a golden brown heishi bead and with two faceted glass rondelle beads at either end. The rest of the necklace is a combination of heishi beads with 8mm light bronze glass beads, 6x7mm freshwater, cultured copper colored pearls and more of the gold coral round tube beads. The clasp is a striking antique gold plated pewter granular toggle clasp. The matching earrings are composed of antique brass bead caps with two pearls divided by a bronze tiny spacer bead and dropping from 14kt gold plated ear wires.
The necklace is slightly longer than a choker necklace at 17 1/2", including the clasp. The pendant adds an additional 1 5/16" to the overall length. The earrings drop just short of 1" from the ear wires.
I thoroughly enjoyed creating this necklace set. The shape of the pendant lent itself well to innovation and it was a 'piece of cake' to find beads to enhance it. Being composed of neutral colors, it will go well with a variety of wardrobe choices.
