Vintage Copper Pendant Featuring Chrysocolla and Copper Beads
This product is currently sold out.
A striking necklace set, the main feature is the vintage stamping (color enhanced to better match the other elements). I can't describe the style, other than it looks like a decorative part of a continuing motif for a classical building. It took awhile for me to decide what materials to use with it, but eventually I discovered that Chrysocolla gemstone tube beads enhanced and gave character to the piece, along with several teardrop shaped 24mm x 15mm copper beads (lead and mercury free). The only other material used are several bicone faceted small bronze/copper colored spacer beads ~ giving a bit of sparkle to the necklace. The matching earrings contain the same elements as the necklace and drop from ball end, wired ear wires. The toggle clasp is copper as well and seems to blend in perfectly with the necklace.
The necklace measures 23.75" in length, including the clasp. An additional 1 3/4" should be added for the length of the pendant, beyond the necklace for the drop. The earrings drop 1 3/4" from the ear wires.
Copper reminds me of bright sunshine and therefore love to use it in my creations. Paired with just the right beads, it can be a wonderful enhancement for many items found in your closet. It is also multi-seasonal, making it a very versatile, sophisticated and chic necklace set.
