Copper Focal on the Side with Cream Biwa Pearls and Copper Beads
This product is currently sold out.
This one-of-a-kind original was created in an unusual design. The focal piece is a vintage copper 35mm round disk which looks like 'squashed spaghetti' to me! It is part of the necklace and it's placement on the side of the necklace is intentional. The disk sits between four biwa-style cream colored pearl beads with a 3mm round copper bead dividing them from another four pearls. Next are two 15mm copper tube beads with a 10mm Bali round decorative bead between the two tubes. This pattern continues for the remainder of the necklace until it meets up with a copper 'S' clasp. The matching earrings contain a few links of chain with a copper decorative bead and drop from wired, ball end ear wires.
The length of the necklace is 25" including the clasp. The earrings drop 1" from the ear wires.
You can't imagine how many times I exchanged different elements of this necklace before I was satisfied with the end result. It was either too busy or too plain. My goal in designing is to experiment with my components to create a truly original piece so that you, a potential customer, has as many choices as is possible. I still have a ways to go since the design concept is limitless.
