For those unfamiliar with the title item, here is an explanation: Haliotis iris, common name paua, blackfoot paua or rainbow abalone, is a species of edible sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Haliotidae, the abalones. This necklace is using front to back drilled Paua shells, with interruptions intermittent with round bluish glass and shell dividers. This design continues to near the end of the necklace (and the beginning) which changes and connects to Czech Glass also divided by round shells and continue to the clasp which is a lovely gold-toned toggle clasp. The matching earrings drop from gold filled French ear wires.
The length of this necklace is 21.5", including the clasp.
